Room 407: Belated Anniversary Antics Begin Here

Rikku was hyper. This was not all that unusual. Rikku was knocking on her Jude-dude's door and singing "Cuban Pete" with the appropriate rumba shimmies. Sadly? Also not that unusual.

She was also really, really hoping that Jude actually snagged her a pimp-hat. She had no bling. Hopefully that could be remedied.

In the meantime: "When I start to dance everything goes, chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky-boom!"

Jude, thoroughly distracted by that, managed to stab himself in the thumb with his belt buckle. His shorts slid to the floor with a thump.

Rikku slipped her arms around his back. "Best. Boyfriend. Ever," she breathed in his ear. "We, uh, do we ... have to go ... right now?"

"You . . . uh, there's . . . we . . ." Jude wasn't even sure which side he was arguing for here.

Neither was she. Rikku pulled him closer, kissed him thoroughly --

-- and then pulled back with a sigh. "Right. Mikey. Hotel. And first, we pimp-ho. Then, uh, then we can ... have fun. Right?"

"Fun. Right. Yes." Jude stole another swift kiss. "Hey, we got all night for this. Um, would you mind turning around while I change into my panties?"

"People are gonna freak out. This is so great." Rikku giggled, and then obligingly turned away. "Uh, I've ... seen you naked before. You know that, right? I mean."

"Yeah, I know, it's just, um . . . never, like, full-frontal for y'know, no good reason . . . right?" Jude blushed, quickly ditching boxers for the disturbingly pretty panties and making sure everything was all tucked away.

"I don't mind," she said quickly, bouncing on her toes a little. "I mean. It's cool. I'm just ... you know. Seeing you naked is always a good reason."

Jude blushed a little. "I dunno why. I'm all scrawny and skinny and stuff." He did up the pre-stuffed bra and slipped the straps up his arms. It was a very utilitarian, drag-queen type bra. Rikku might be starting to get worried. "You can turn around now . . .

"You're ... you're awesome," she said softly. "You've got flippy hair and incredible lips and, uh, you, uh ..."

She flailed a little and decided some things were totally better left unsaid. And then she turned around.

And then she flailed for a different reason.

"... Caitlin again?" she said weakly.

"Nah, Jonesy," he chuckled sheepishly, pulling on the shirt. "I was too flat last time or something."

Rikku raised an eyebrow. "You know, I don't think Jonesy's allowed to check out your rack any more."

"He thinks I'm a total hottie," Jude chuckled, wriggling into the mini-skirt. With skirt and shirt that tied just under his fake bust, he was actually starting to look pretty convincing.

Rikku folded her arms, laughing. "He can't have you. I called dibs. Uh. I'm calling dibs. Mine and all that."

Jude chuckled mellowly. "Cool with me." He picked up the wig and flipped it over, inspecting it before he would have to pull it on.

"You're gonna be a redhead?" she giggled. "I, uh, I'm still kinda short, for a guy. Should I get platform shoes? Or just be a really short pimp guy?"

"It's all about walkin' tall, bra," Jude chuckled, ducking his head to get the wig on properly. He flipped it up, suddenly a luscious redhead.

"Plus there was that weird short guy who totally had the pimp-thing going and all that purple," Rikku said. Because that would totally make sense to Jude. "He was all 'I'm a pimp, AND a ho, wooo!' and kinda weird. Still hot, though."

Ah, Prince.

She tilted her hat back and leered. "You know, I've never made out with a redhead."

Jude licked his lips. "You wanna try, sugah?" he cooed in a surprisingly girly falsetto.

"You're totally trying to break my head," Rikku laughed, leaning in.

"It's your idea," he reminded her, his hand slipping up to cup her cheek as he kissed her lovingly.

"I didn't realize you'd be this good at it," she laughed. "You're all 'hi, I'm some chick' and yet you still kinda look like you. Seriously weird."

Luckily, more kissing made everything better.

"Still gotta put on my lipstick," Jude reminded her with a little nuzzle and another kiss.

Rikku giggled. "Hang on. I can totally do that for you."

She grabbed the tube of lipstick and applied it liberally - if somewhat sloppily - to her own lips before puckering once or twice and then leaning over again. "Here."

"Works for me," Jude grinned, and set about the lipstick application with great enthusiasm.
