"I'm sure it does," she agreed. "If you took me to a city, all the streets would look the same, but you'd be navigating like a pro, you know?"
She sighed, not taking her eyes of that dune.
"So I climbed up to the top and waved my arms and was gonna gloat about being right, because I knew we were at Home, and then ... you know. That's when I saw it."
She shrugged. "I kind of feel like ... coming up to it, now? Like I'm going to get there and peek over and it'll just be Home again. Like that was a bad dream. And I know that's not true, so I don't know why I keep thinking it."
