Maybe seeing things clearly for the first time. So ... it was good that she'd come here, to talk to the Guado. It wasn't fair, that she'd had to, it wasn't right, but ... maybe it had helped her, after all.
"Reno?" she said, looking up at him. "... Maybe it's not ... I mean. I keep telling you, your blood doesn't get on me, and ... maybe someday I won't be as okay with it, like, if we had Ruba, I'd want things to be different, but I think you would, too, wouldn't you? I just ..."
She couldn't possibly be thinking this.
"Maybe ... y-you should just ... I mean, this is your job, and I'm going, hey, do your job, just do half of it, and that's kinda -- I mean, either I'm okay with it or I'm not, which doesn't mean I'm okay with all of it, because some of it I'm kinda not, but you said it's different now, and even if I don't trust Tseng, I ... trust you, right?"
