"You heard him, Petey," Rikku said, eyeing the kitty. Who was wondering why the bouncing had stopped. "He doubted your powers. You know what this means." She set Petey down. "Attack!"

This was, of course, Petey's cue to scamper off the bed and out of sight.

"He meant to do that," she said airily.
