ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY GIRLS (mild spoilers abound)
RIKKU (Final Fantasy X)
She's tiny, her clothes are loud, bright and don't match, and she's bouncier than most people after they've mainlined pixie stix. Do not let this fool you: she can and will kick your ass.
If you know her canon, Rikku came to Fandom three months after the end of FFX, and I've Jossed FFX-2 completely in the year she's been here. (I.e., she got help from Isabel Evans, Dawn Summers and Door and voila, Tidus is back kickin' it on Besaid.) She just spent break clearing out the Omega Ruins.
If you don't: Rikku's from a tribe of people called the Al Bhed who dress even worse than she does - no, really. More importantly, they're non-believers in the predominant religion in her world (Yevon), and spent a thousand years exiled as "heathens" and "grease-monkeys" for daring to disbelief in The Teachings and play with machinery/technology. (Yevon said technology was Bad.)
Three months before she came to Fandom, Rikku and Yuna and five others finally defeated the big evil that's been tormenting her world for a thousand years, and uncovered the Yevon religion as a string of lies. Her world is in major upheaval right now, and people are changing how they think about the Al Bhed. But it's slow going.
She's really jumpy about governments, religions, and might ask if you're an Al Bhed hater. Hey, most of the Al Bhed are dead right now, and her home city is a pile of rubble - it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you. She's not so great with authority.
Having said that, she doesn't talk about this much, and is cheerful in the face of most crises. She sings Cuban Pete a lot, loves weapons, and enjoys tormenting Hades. She is hyper, bouncy, and crazyflakes. She never, ever shuts up.
If you stand right in front of her, and you're looking for it, you'll see that her pupils aren't round, they're spiral-shaped. It's an Al Bhed thing.
NAMINÉ (Kingdom Hearts)
Naminé is the Nobody of a girl named Kairi, who is also a Princess of Heart. Nobodies are creatures that are created when a strong-minded person loses their heart to the Heartless; the rest of the person refuses to fall over and go away quietly, and leaves an odd sort of psychic flashprint of themselves waking up in Twilight Town.
If you know her canon, Naminé came to FH shortly after Sora woke up again in KH2.
Canon really can't decide if Nobodies can have feelings or not; a couple of people state authoritatively that they can't feel, as they don't have hearts, but at least one of them admits he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and hearts can't be quantified right before he bites it. And Naminé is actually a weird case for Nobodies to start with, as Kairi never actually fell to Darkness, so she doesn't remember being Kairi at all.
Naminé has existed for less than two years, even though she's a fifteen-year-old girl. She was abducted by Organization XIII and forced to rewrite Sora's memories. She escaped, confessed the truth to Sora, and spent the next year fixing his mind to work properly again. As a side-effect, Sora doesn't remember any of what happened to him in Castle Oblivion, including meeting her at all.
She is on the run from both the Organization (who want her to mind-zap Sora again) and a man named DiZ (who thinks she's too dangerous to live), and just got back from a plot where both made a grab for her. She's back safe and sound, and paradoxically may be safer now since both sides know people are waiting to swoop in and kick some ass in a rescue mission, but is going to be a touch jumpy again for a bit.
Naminé is pale, blonde, and usually wears white, with light blue sandals and dark blue eyes. She likes to draw a lot, usually with crayons or colored pencils. She'll admit she's not very good at it, but she enjoys it a great deal. She's quiet, shy, but has a playful sense of humor.
Naminé can open portals through darkness, so if you ever need to travel somewhere in a hurry, she can hook you up. The portals are completely safe, they're basically shortcuts.
Lastly: if you want to get the é character for Naminé, hold down Alt+130 (for PCs) or press Option-E and then e (for Macs), copy it from the character map, or copy and paste it from where she's used it. Or you can do the far easier "skip it entirely", I'm not going to mind.
FAITH LEHANE (Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the Series)
Faith is abrasive, rough-edged, and violent. Faith likes sex, knives, and hard liquor. Faith is also post-canon, which means she got that whole evil streak out of the way, got her head out of her ass, spent a few years in jail getting her head on straight again, and is now Good again.
She's still got Buffy issues, but hey, who doesn't?
She's technically a fugitive from the law, but most people in Fandom don't know that. Dale Cooper has set himself up as her unofficial parole officer.

lilpunkinbelly/Dawn Summers, and decided to stay in Fandom to hang out, keep an eye on her, and maybe let her freaking guard down already. It's hard for her, okay?
If you don't know Buffy canon at all, Faith's a Slayer, which means she's got jacked up reflexes, power, speed, and a healing factor that means if you don't kill her outright she's probably gonna survive. She staked a guy by accident, thinking he was a vampire, and that's what started her whole downward spiral into Eviltimes. That and she had a shitty childhood, abusive drunk of a mother, nonexistent father, blah blah blah, and got stuck with a Watcher who had no idea what to do with her when she went Rogue. Not that she's ducking responsibility. Totally her bad.
Her PB is the lovely and lickable Eliza Dushku, and Faith has promised Dawn that she won't bang students or Dads. (This is after the threeway with Alec and Dean Winchester in Scotland, mind you.)
Faith bartends at Caritas on Wednesday nights.
Faith may be rude, harsh or blunt with your character, because she fails at tact. This is an IC thing and not an OOC one. If Faith says or does something that bothers you OOC, please let me know.
